The list of next 19 renewed CBS series, which announce the arrival of the following TV season, has been delivered. However, it does not contain Elementary which is the first time since the series was originally released. This makes us question whether the show will be renewed for its next season or not.
But, it is most likely that the series will be continued, to many fans’ delight. Some plans have already been made, and they will probably include both Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan (Lucy Liu). Apparently, Rob Doherty, who is at the helm of the project, has come to an agreement with the writer for the Season 6.
Having CBS on one hand and Elementary on the other, guarantees success among everyone keen on the series, and it is of high importance for the show to have the owner such as CBS standing behind the project. CEO for CBS Corporation, Leslie Moonves, has set these two as an example of thriving and prosperous endeavor. According to her the series “made approximately an $80 million profit for the corporation in 2015.”
The 19th episode of Season 5 has been set for this Sunday at 10 p.m. due to the delay from the last Saturday’s Masters golf tournament. When it comes to the synopsis of the episode, it is centered on Sherlock’s frustration regarding the insult received from Shinwell (Nelsan Ellis). And of course, Sherlock will unwind in a completely unusual manner. Instead of facing Shinwell directly, he chooses to relieve the frustration by solving a crime in which he stands up against private investigators in order to find out what lies behind the murder of the former private investigator. Sounds thrilling so don’t miss the last episode of Season 5.
