Everything seems to be under a veil of secrecy when it comes to The Elder Scrolls and its sixth installment. Much as fans would love to know its official release date, Bethesda Softworks is giving no signs on the topic whatsoever. Aside from the announcement that the release day is certainly going to come, no further details were ever given. The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has notched up a tremendous success, and everyone is ready to see what the sequel has in store.
The rumor has it that the game development is in progress, but Bethesda is denying. To what extent this mystery is important to them says even the fact that their workers are forbidden to give any information regarding the game. One of the speculations, based on the experience with Fallout 4, is that the secret is kept only to make a complete surprise upon revelation.
But the secrets do not end here. Not only is the release date a mystery but the title of The Elder Scrolls 6 remains unknown as well. There are assumptions that one of the options is The Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia, to many fans delight. This means that the focus of the game will probably be slightly changed. Argonians were not in the center of attention in The Elder Scrolls 5, but they might be in the next installment.

Having in mind that the release date is not seen before 2019 it can only mean that the company is either working on some other projects or that it just wants to slacken the pace and devote a considerable amount of time to the upcoming sequel. What the new game is going to offer, it only remains to wait and see.
