Most of the time, when you think of the physical appearance of The Rock, it is mostly about his size, huge muscles or generally that he’s as big as a mountain. Nonetheless, now the masses on the internet are enchanted by a different characteristic of this 45-year-old celebrity. And that is his brand new grey beard.
Johnson’s new look was presented in one of his Instagram videos where he was talking on and on about how Ballers has become so successful. But honestly, we weren’t really listening, because all we were looking at was his bearded face.
He figured us out, since at the end of the video he said: “I know you guys well, I know you’re thinking ‘Damn DJ look at that beard’.”
As it turns out, The Rock isn’t turning into a hipster or something like that. The beard is for the purpose of his new role in Skyscraper, movie directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, where he will star together with Neve Campbell.
So far, we really like it, although he could probably grow it out a little more.
Everything is cool as long as he never refers to himself as ‘uncle DJ’ again.
