It seems that Dwayne The Rock Johnson takes no breaks whatsoever if his social media and IMDB are a sign. He keeps doing movie after movie, show after show, and now he is starting a brand new project. He has just begun producing one of his newest films Skyscraper and went on Instagram in order to share and mark this with his fans.
In the photo, The Rock is with Rawson Marshall Thurber, the movie writer and director, and Robert Elswitt, the cinematographer, of whom The Rock claims to be the “real star” of the film. Of course, he doesn’t stop there with his praise.
“Robert’s on the Mt. Rushmore of Cinematographers and I’m grateful and inspired to work with this legendary bad [expletive],” The Rock said. “What a dream team and crew I’m honored to create and drop sweat with. Day 1 and takin’ it to new heights. Literally.”
As for Thurber, he reposted the same photo on his Instagram account but left the caption as it is since The Rock said it all.
In the upcoming movie, Johnson will do what he is really good at: kick some a*s. He is playing an ex-FBI leader of the Hostage Rescue Team, Will Ford. He has to save his family from a burning building which is one of the tallest ones. However, his problems don’t end there. It also happens that he is a wanted man because now his job is assessing the security of the skyscrapers.
The owner and designer of the building are helping Johnson’s character Ford. In order to clear his name and save his family, he must track down the responsible ones for the havoc and even the score.
Other stars along with The Rock in this movie are Chin Han, Hannah Quinlivan, Neve Campbell and Byron Mann.
Presumably, this photo is just the first of many photos this actor is going to share on his Instagram about this project. Also, the movie is supposed to be in cinemas in July 2018.
