Success doesn’t come cheap, and no man is more aware of that than Dwayne. According to him if you want to achieve something you have to be relentless and work as hard as you can, and when you can’t anymore, work harder. That is why this universally known actor that has a body better than a Greek God, no matter what project he is currently on brings his own gym to the set. Yes, the guy has his own gym, go figure.
This could be seen on Dwayne’s video posted last week on Instagram, where he is working out in his large on-set gym that is jam packed with every machine you could think of. To break the monotony of the space, it is even nicely decorated with an American flag, as well as flags representing the Air Force and Marine Corps. The current location of his great gym is in Canada on the set of his new action-thriller movie called Skyscraper which he is doing with Neve Campbell. The video you will see below has a big caption but one line explains it all, and it says “I travel with this entire hardcore gym to every location I shoot in because (for me) it’s the only way this lead dog eats.”
This, of course, isn’t the first time you could see his traveling gym. The first time he let us in was when this second highest-paid actor of 2017 (just behind Mark Wahlberg) showed us how hardcore his workouts really are. Apparently, he doesn’t even have time to go to the bathroom, and he uses the first bottle he sees to pee in. He explained “Look, I go hardcore when I train. I don’t have time to go to the bathroom,” the 45-year-old explained. “I find a bottle, I pee in it, and I keep training like a beast.”
That Dwayne actually loves the gym more than himself was confirmed by his trainer Dave Rienzi who stated that “He loves to train, so you struggle to keep him out of the gym. When I started working with him, he was spending too much time in the gym, which was a little counterproductive, so I had to try to limit him to a really intense 45-60 minutes.” Everyone knew that Dwayne was incredible, but this is a new high even for him. Good job man, keep up the excellent work.
