The main reason something interesting always happens on the People’s Choice Awards is that it is one of the award shows that are not so strict. When it comes to this year’s award show, all lights were on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for what he said during his People’s Choice Awards Speech. Actually, no one is sure what he said so he left everyone wondering what that could possibly have been. First of the two categories he was nominated for this year was Favorite Comedic Movie Actor, which his good friend and costar from Central Intelligence Kevin Hart won.
The one that he won was Favorite Premium Series Actor for the role in Ballers. This is not his first win in the category for the same role; he had won one before that. As it usually goes, he thanked everyone, starting with his family and friends and then gave a cute shoutout to his daughters, followed by some words of his that people from the PCAs preferred to bleep out. Namely, it might have been connected to Hart and his previous joke related to Johnson, since the camera panned to him. After the bleeping, Johnson mentioned that Hart approved of him saying whatever it was, but that’s what everyone was left curious about. And what was so terrible about it to get bleeped?
Unfortunately, there is no other way for viewers to find out what it was but for Johnson to say it or someone who was in the audience. However, he also said some really nice things in his speech, so they left a great impact on the public. He mentioned how kindness is always necessary, especially nowadays.
