Dwayne Johnson never sleeps. Of course, he’s not. There are things to do, and movies to promote. The first movie in line, of many to come from Johnson’s workshop, is Rampage. People’s Champ used his Twitter profile to share with his audience a new video from the upcoming action-adventure film.
The scene in the clip shows the Rampage intro, and it’s one never seen before. As you already know this movie is an adaptation of an arcade game that was popular in the 80s. The released date set for Rampage is April 13th, 2018 and while you wait for the theatrical release, you can check out the video below.
In addition to Dwayne The Rock Johnson, Rampage also stars Naomie Harris (Moonlight), Malin Akerman (TV’s Billions), Jake Lacy (TV’s Girls), Joe Manganiello (TV’s True Blood) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (TV’s The Walking Dead) as the main cast. The supporting roles are reserved for P.J. Byrne (The Wolf of Wall Street), Marley Shelton (Solace), Breanne Hill (San Andreas), Jack Quaid (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), and Matt Gerald (TV’s Daredevil).
Man and his best friend.
Here’s an EXCLUSIVE never seen before scene from RAMPAGE.
I’ll stop at nothing to protect my buddy George from anyone or anyTHING harming him. Despite him thinking peeing on my things is rad and funny. #RAMPAGE APRIL 13th WORLDWIDE 🦍🐺🐊 🌎 pic.twitter.com/lGCNvEZ7w8— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) March 28, 2018
The movie is produced by the team that already proved it can bring great box office hits. The crew is the same one that cooperated with him on the recent box office hit Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle, and upcoming Skyscraper action-thriller. They are Marcus Viscidi, Dany Garcia, and Jeff Fierson, with Wendy Jacobson co-producing. Besides being the lead role, Dwayne Johnson is also one of the producers, standing behind his Seven Bucks production company.
As we are accustomed to Johnson, he’s doing everything in his power to promote one of his projects. With immense social media presence, this is easier for him than for some other Hollywood stars. Besides social media videos and teasers, Dwayne Johnson is expected to further push this movie to success by appearing in The Graham Norton Show in early April.
