On Thursday, Aileen Pizarro and her daughter were killed in a wrong-way car fiery car crash. It was devastating news for the family and it was up to her son Angelo to organize the funeral.
Knowing that she was a huge Dwayne Johnson fan, Angelo tweeted to Johnson, asking the Hollywood actor whether he could send a tribute video, mentioning his mom’s name. He knew that he would like to have The Rock “talk to her”.
And, of course, Dwayne Johnson responded. On Sunday, he made a video, offering his condolences. The video was shared by Angelo’s brother Dominic with NBC 7 and The Rock said: “I am so sorry to hear about your sister and mom and this tragic loss that you and your family are going through.”

“If your mom could see me now, which I’m sure she can, I just want to thank her for all the love and being a such a big fan,” he continued. And this little gesture from the Rock was enough for Angelo to keep his mind at peace.
He tweeted: “I hope everyone knows how amazing you are. I can’t stop smiling knowing she’s smiling so much. Just, thank you.” Johnson’s video was one minute long and he ended it by telling the family to “stay strong”.
Once again, the wrestler-turned-actor proved that he is always there, to encourage his fans and all they had to do is reach him out. This video meant the world to Angelo and his mother, who is probably smiling down from heaven.
