Dwayne Johnson has filmed an entertaining new commercial for the Apple iPhone 7 in which he jokes about his busy schedule and his status of an action figure. It is basically a short film he did with Apple executives to promote Siri, an intelligent personal assistant and he teased the commercial on social media.
He displayed a poster on Twitter, but he also wrote: “Teamed w/ @Apple to make the biggest, coolest, funnest (is that a word?) movie ever. Drops TOMORROW!#ROCKxSIRI #DominateYourDay.”
“And I have the greatest co-star of all time, Siri,” he added. “I make movies for the world to enjoy and we also made this one to motivate you to get out there and get the job done. I want you to watch it, have fun with it and then go live it.”
However, the movie is actually a long advertisement which is titled “The Rock x Siri: Dominate The Day.” The four-minute ad which was released on Monday shows Dwayne Johnson doing various “daily” tasks with the help of Siri. At the beginning of the commercial, he is multitasking when he sees a news report on the TV which talks about his life and asks: “Can he do more? Experts say no.” He accepts the challenge and completes his life goals with Siri’s help – he orders a cab, goes to the airport where he flies the plane to Rome.
We don’t want to talk about the entire commercial since you can see it here. The Rock manages to do all the tasks, and he returns to the set of an action movie when he sets more life goals.
It is just a commercial, but in real life, Johnson is indeed the busiest celebrity. He has 11 film projects in development, and one of those is Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle which premieres in December.
