Of course, Dwayne The Rock Johnson is one of the first names that cross your mind when someone mentions wrestling and WWE, but recently Finn Balor has made his way to the roster and is considered one of the most talented wrestlers at the moment. A couple of days ago, The Rock posted a tweet which says clearly that he supports Balor and believes in him.
As Finn has been talked about quite a lot lately, there were various rumors about his upcoming battles. Some suggested that Vince McMahon doesn’t find him “over” enough to face someone like Brock Lesnar “The Beast.” In case you don’t remember, at first, the plan was to see a match between Balor and “The Beast” for the Universal Title at The Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV). However, they eventually changed those plans, so now instead of watching Balor fight against this great wrestler, we’ll have the chance to see a Triple Threat match between Lesnar, Braun Strowman, and Kane.

In spite of all the rumors, it seems that Johnson still firmly believes that Finn Balor can accomplish a lot. Namely, The Rock advised him to remain persistent, but he also praised for doing a good job so far. “It’s tough but you gotta take it day by day my friend,” he said, adding “Keep stayin’ focused. You’re doing great.”
Even though Balor is quite young, he has already shown us that there is a reason why we should trust in him, just like The Rock does. In case you don’t remember, in 2016, he defeated Seth Rollins at SummerSlam and became the first-ever WWE Universal Champion. Not bad, right? Unfortunately, soon afterward he suffered a shoulder injury which slowed him down a little bit, but we hope that this April, Balor will take part in WrestleMania 34 and live up to his fans’ expectations.
