When it comes to the Jungle Cruise attraction in Disneyland, we can all agree that it isn’t all about the ride and that some PG-rated jokes are the ones that make it so interesting. Well, those jokes are unfunny, and it is on the level it does become funny, and people have a great time riding.
It seems that both Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson want to embrace that awkward style and implement it in the movie. Judging by the video they have released, it looks like that they are on the right way. You can see two stars making all kind of bad jokes, and for charming people like these two, it isn’t hard to make them quite amazing.

Disneyland was opened in 1955, and Jungle Cruise was one of the original attractions in the park. The animatronic animals that visitors had a chance to see were pretty much state of the art for that time. A few years later, things have changed, and the ride was more about jokes and talking than about the animals. Soon, it prevailed, and it became the main attraction.
After the success of the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise, it was clear that Disney should start the work on some other similar projects. It wasn’t all that hard to decide and it was time for Jungle Cruise to get its big screen debut. The idea was born, but it didn’t progress much from there. It was reported that Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, that had great cooperation on Toy Story, were interested in this movie, but it wasn’t until Dwayne Johnson name popped up that this project got the wind in its back.
Alongside Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, we will be able to see Paul Giamatti, Edgar Ramirez, Jesse Plemons. At the help is Jaume Collet-Serra who is known from Unknown and Non-Stop action movies with Liam Neeson. Just by looking at this short video that was released, we can agree that this will be one amazing ride and it is coming your way on October 11, 2019.
