According to The Associated Press, EJ attended New York University, majoring in “event management and design with an interest in fashion, journalism and media.” As a junior at NYU, he was cast in a supporting role for the first season of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, then promoted to main-character status for the show’s second season.
