Since that impressive win on the road in Atlanta, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers haven’t been that good. Now, they are facing their toughest task of the season. Super Bowl champions are in the town and ready to continue their winning streak against Jameis Winston and company.
This Denver defense has been on fire as of late. In their last five games, including the AFC Championship game and the Super Bown, this D hasn’t allowed more than one TD to the opposing quarterback. And they have faced some good ones. Newton twice, Brady, Luck, and Dalton. They have shut them down, and they are looking to do the same to this Bucs offense.
Jameis Winston has been hot and cold to start the season. At times impressive, but there are times when he is just throwing the ball to the other team. And that is just not going to cut it on Sunday against the squad like Broncos.
This will be a true test to Winston and his Bucs. If he somehow manages to play well against Denver’s defense, it will be the biggest accomplishment of his young career. He is still learning how to be a QB on this NFL level, but he is a pretty decent player right now and should be able to hang on in this game.
Siemian showed what he’s made of when he threw 4 TDs in Cincinnati and made some sweet deep ball throws. He needs to continue to lead his team and make plays like he did against the Bengals in order for this team to come again as champions.
The jury is still out on him, but it’s not on this defense. And they will lead the Broncos to victory in this duel. Bucs won’t go down without a fight, but Denver is going to remain undefeated after this week, and we are picking them to win this game 20:13.
