In one of the best matches of the night, in a classic tag team action at Summerslam, the duo of Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins have become the tag team champions. Two-thirds of the shield have united once more to conquer the tag team scene on Monday Night Raw. The fans love it, and the storyline was done perfectly. There is really nothing to complain about here, we can just look forward to this story developing even more.
One of the highlights of the match was when Cesaro came into the crowd, grabbed the beach ball that the fans have been playing with and ripped it off. Beach ball at wrestling events suggests that the action in the ring is not as exciting as it should be and that the fans would rather do something else. This was really a bad match for the fans to pick to bring out the beach ball as the guys really gave it their all in the ring.
Sheamus and Cesaro have shown some great tag team combos, and they worked pretty well together. On the other hand, we also have a team that looked like they didn’t skip a beat, even though they haven’t teamed up in more than three years.
The finish saw Seth Rollins coming into the ring to save Ambrose and deal huge damage to the opponents with Super kicks. Then, that opened an opportunity for Ambrose’s Dirty Deeds finisher and the three count. In the end, WWE made a good decision here by giving the titles to Ambrose and Rollins. Now, they should continue making them interesting as a team and allowing fans to fall in love with them again before the eventual split up that is going to happen at some point.
