The Deadpool was one of the best-received movies last year, and now the teaser trailer for Deadpool 2 is launched. It is too early to tell what Deadpool 2 will be all about and the teaser doesn’t reveal anything about the plot at all, but it did provide a nice glimpse of Wade Wilson who wants to do the right thing, while his silliness gets in the way once again. What is great about the trailer is that the producers may have accidentally revealed a bit too much about the new movie.
First of all, there are graffiti written on the phone booth and all around the place, which speculates a lot of things. The graffiti on the booth mentions Nathan Summers (Cable) who may appear in Deadpool 2, whereas the other one suggests a possible appearance of Hope Summers, another X-Force member. An interesting detail in the teaser is when Deadpool, played by Ryan Raynolds walks by the theater in which Logan premieres.
Secondly, there are posters for Firefly that are visible at one point behind Deadpool so could this mean that Morena Baccarin is going to appear in the new installment of the popular movie? Or it implies that Nathan Fillion will be cast as someone. At the end of the teaser trailer, the fast-scrolling text with tiny font passes in front of our eyes and believe it or not, but that is the entire Hemingway’s novel The Old Man and the Sea. It is hard, even to guess what that means, but it is rather odd to see it.
