Ryan Reynolds posted on his Twitter account a photo of Zazie Beetz as Domino, from Deadpool 2 by 20th Century Fox. Domino was a part of the X-Force mutant team and she possesses excellent shooting skills. In addition to that, she also has mutant probability changing powers. Also, in the comics Cable and she is in an on-off love relationship. In the movies, Josh Brolin will play Cable.
In the photo, we can see Beetz lying on a Deadpool-skin rug. The caption says “Some people just know how to work a red carpet #Domino #Deadpool2.” Presumably, this photo is a parody of a similar photo of Deadpool on a bear-skin rug.
Domino was in the S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Six Pack team, and also known as Neena Thurman. Initially, the team was supposed to tackle Cable, but in the end, she deserted them and went to his side right after Cable and Deadpool defeated Six Pack. Together with Deadpool, she was responsible for the assassination of the Rumekistan dictator. However, after she found out that was the plan to make Cable the country leader, she attempted to kill him. Just as a reminder, this is what happens in the comics. It doesn’t mean that is what Fox is having in store.
Deadpool 2 was lacking from Fox’s Comic-Con proceedings in San Diego, which was entirely dedicated to the fall release – Kingsman: Golden Circle. Deadpool 2 is planned for the next summer during prime time: the first week of June, which is the same time Warner Bros. aired their Wonder Woman this year.
