Well, nobody really predicted nor expected for the Cowboys to sit at the top of the whole NFC after the first half of the season. Especially not when Tony Romo got hurt, then Dez Bryant and some other key contributors on the defensive side of the ball got injured. Yet, here they are at 6-1 after eight rounds (they had bye week).
On the other hand, nobody is surprised that Browns are by far the worst team in football. Plethora of injuries affected their chances this season, especially at the quarterback position. Five signal callers have thrown the ball in Browns jersey this season, and that is just four QBs too much for any team that wants to contend for the postseason.
Dallas is coming off an enormous win against the Eagles to put themselves in the comfortable lead. NFC East is always a close call, but if ‘Boys keep this up, that’s not going to be a case this time around. They probably have the easiest possible task out of all teams in Week 9, and they need to take advantage of that.
Browns did just grab themselves a linebacker from the New England Patriots. We are talking about a Pro-Bowler Jamie Collins who is on his way to Cleveland. He won’t make a huge impact this season since Browns still have a lot of problems, but this is a good step in the right direction. They’ll have to pay him at the end of the season, though.
Dallas is a superior team, and anything but their win would be a surprise and huge upset. Jerry Jones said that Dak Prescott will start in Week 9 since Tony is still under question mark and not ready to play. Browns will bring the fight just like they did against the Jets but will fall short yet again. Th final score will be 27:17 in favor of the Dallas Cowboys as they will prolong their winning streak.
