The strength of the Dallas Cowboys. The first thing we think about when we mention this squad. Their bread and butter. The massive offensive line that has enabled them to have two great seasons in the past three years and have two MVP-caliber running backs and two MVP-caliber quarterbacks over the past three seasons. Of course, we are talking about DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo back in 2014, as well as the duo of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliot a season ago.
There have been some changes when it comes to the O-line of the Dallas Cowboys. La’el Collins is transitioning to the right tackle, and that is going to be a small change. Doug Free and Ron Leary have also left the team, and Chaz Green or Johnathan Cooper will have to go into the starting lineup in order to try and fill the void that these guys left. Still, they are probably the best offensive line in the game.
Philly Eagles will have a good O-line in their division this season, but they still can’t match the Cowboys. Tyron Smith, Zach Martin, and Travis Frederick are still going to cause a lot of troubles for opposing defensive lines. They are the perennial Pro Bowlers, these guys have the experience now, and they work well with their quarterback and running back.
The game plan of the Dallas Cowboys revolves around these players doing what they do best – block for Ezekiel and protect Dak Prescott. There is a reason why two running backs and two quarterbacks have had amazing seasons in the past three years. These guys are the best in the game and the signature of the Dallas Cowboys.
