Alfred Morris is a good reserve, but he will probably like to get more playing time. And with Elliott back, that is not going to happen. Morris did well for the Cowboys when Elliott was out due to a suspension, but it is a waste to see him sit on the bench. Plus, Dallas already has Rod Smith who is a suitable backup to the leading running back.
