Dallas Cowboys have been trailing by two Touchdowns in the first half. We wondered how Dak Prescott will perform in that kind of a situation as he still hasn’t been in as big of a hole like that one. Well, he passed the test with flying colors. He showed a lot of poise, didn’t panic and led his team to 24:17 victory. Now, Cowboys are the winners of three straight games.
Dak Prescott was pretty good on the afternoon against this decent 49ers defense, on the road, playing from behind. He went 23/32 for 245 yards and two Touchdowns. Both of them came in the first half.
First, it was a 20-yarder to Terrence Williams and then it was a 5-yard dart to Brice Butler to tie the game at 14 just before the halftime. Great performance by Dak Prescott who still hasn’t thrown a pick this season even after four games. It’s never easy for a rookie to play from behind, away from home, and win the game.
Ezekiel Elliott was nothing short of sensational as he ran the ball 23 times for 138 yards and one score. He averaged 6 yards per carry and had increased his average in every single game. First, it was 2.5, then he raised it to 3.9 yards per carry, last week he had 4.7 and this week it was the best performance of his career, for the 3rd straight week.
