It appears that the entire season will revolve around the Money Pit. There were some indications in the pre-season trailers that Rick and Marty were going to focus on the Money Pit, plus the Geotech pattern drilling system speaks clearly. Moreover, at the start of the episode, Rick said: “We are singularly focused on the Money Pit this year,” while Marty added: “I always felt like the Money Pit is where it began, and the Money Pit is probably where it will end.”
Should they use all of their resources to explore the Money Pit? After watching the sneak peek for episode 3, it seems that they should and will do it.
