As previously said, it’s easy to assume that all the discovered artifacts were left by ancient treasure hoarders. Same goes for debris. But, once again, when we look at the big picture, we see that this might not be the most suitable explanation. Namely, numerous explorers and mining companies which came to the island to explore it have eventually dug around forty pits altogether trying to find the treasure. Thus, it’s quite clear that the debris left behind was just a result of all those mine dugs.
