Having implemented numerous changes and updates in the video game franchise “Crash Bandicoot” since its conception, Vicarious Visions is now working on the remastered edition of the game. It has been confirmed that the upcoming game will resemble the original with some of the most important features. The original version was first released in 1996, and it was then followed by “Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back” and “Crash Bandicoot Warped.”
“Crash Bandicoot” Remastered Edition Details
As we already said, Vicarious Visions, the developer that was also in charge of “Skylanders” and “Destiny 2”, has decided to deliver this new edition which will be titled “Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy”. They have also released a video which shows what the forthcoming title will look like compared to the original version, which was developed by Naughty Dog for PlayStation 1. Judging by this video, the new “Crash Bandicoot” seems to remain true to its roots. Vicarious Visions has put a lot of effort so as to balance the new game features with the original ones. It has been said that they managed to do that well.
Some of the old features that the game retains include techniques for fighting enemies and protective Aku-Aku masks. As for the updates, it is important to note that the overall setting has been improved and that the game will feature a remastered audio. In addition to these, new options also include unified checkpoints and an enhanced saving system, which means that there will be an option for both automatic and manual saving.
