There is no doubt about what the Cowboys should do when Tony Romo comes back. They should leave him on the bench and let the young future of the franchise lead this team to victories this season. When a squad is on a roll like Cowboys are, you can’t do anything to mess up that rhythm that the team is in. Cowboys are winning games even they have a rookie QB and based on what he showed so far we can say that Dallas is winning because of Dak Prescott.
Ezekiel Elliot is also great and is looking like one of the best running backs in the NFL while running behind that powerful offensive line. He was the 4th overall pick in the draft. When you are that high of a draft pick, people expect to see what they have seen so far. But, when you are a 4th round rookie QB, people just don’t think of you as a starting quarterback on a 5-1 team. That is what Prescott is.
He is showing the leadership, the decision-making, poise, and accuracy. He is doing everything to help this team win. And that is why this job is his to lose. This job should be his, and it will be taken away only if he plays badly and gives it away. It’s all on him now and the game against the Eagles next week will be the one in which he finally and officially wins it.
This is the future of Cowboy’s franchise, and they should not play with this good thing that they have going on. Dak Prescott will start and will continue to lead this team.
