1Alfred Morris’ final start

As you already know Elliott has served his 6 game suspension and he will be back the next one and start as well, which means goodbye to Morris. Not that Morris was bad at all. He and breakout star Rod Smith actually manage to improve their Zeke-free run game, near the end to be honest, but improve is the key word here. They manage to average 143 yards per game, somewhere from half of Zeke’s suspension, which is a huge improvement over 99 yards they achieved when Zeke left the team. The Raiders game brought troubles for Morris, and his struggle was visible and measurable. He came into the game with 3.51 yards after the catch but managed to pound for just 2.13 yards after contact against Oakland, according to the data from PFF. Nevertheless, this will not matter next week when Elliott opens up against the Seahawks.
