That was probably their final shot to win a game this year, and they have taken it. In a weird way, both teams can relax in this match.
The Steelers have just booked their Playoff spot. They will be going to the postseason again and most likely as the third overall seed. Browns can relax because their mission is complete. They won’t go down in the history books as the worst team in NFL history.
As a matter of fact, it’s maybe a good thing for the Browns to lose a game here against the Steelers. They are in a prime position to get the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft and winning this duel against the Steelers will only hurt those chances. Niners could still take that pick away from them with a likely loss in Seattle and with Browns victory against the Steelers squad that has already done what they needed to do.
Even though the Pittsburgh crew will probably rest some players, especially in the second half of this game, we think they are going to end up on the winning side in this battle. Browns will give them a run for their money as they will be hyped to play after that big victory against the Chargers, but they will fall just short. The final score of this game will be 31:24 in favor of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
