This is just what the doctor ordered for the Bengals after two bad losses to the Cowboys and the Patriots. This Browns squad is just not as bad as they record shows, but they are not all that good football team. Looking at their roster, we can notice that they are pretty much depleted at all positions. Bengals are facing a slight drop in their form, and this is a good chance for them to return to winning ways.
Andy Dalton has not been the problem here. His weapons are also doing a decent job too. But this offensive line and defensive front haven’t played at a high level. O-Line couldn’t protect Dalton in Dallas while that defensive line just can’t get the job done. They will need to improve on both sides of the ball if Bengals want to get back on track and attempt to make a run at playoffs.
Browns are having a lot of problems with injuries. None of their quarterbacks have had a chance to settle in and run this offense. Terrelle Pryor has been Browns’ best player so far, and he is just showing how talented he actually is. But this team needs more than him alone in order to win some games.
Browns won’t remain winless throughout the whole season, but they won’t win in Cincy this week. Bengals should prevail in this game on their home turf, and the final score of 34:14 will be on the table. Tough to imagine Cleveland stealing this one in Cincinnati.
