There have been very few superstars that were able to change their character over the course of a 10-plus year career and still remain relevant. Even fewer superstars were able to have one of their best runs in the world of wrestling on the backside of their careers. That is something that Chris Jericho has been able to do as his latest run in the WWE is one of the best that he has ever had.
The things that he can put over are just simply amazing. The List is something that became popular mostly because he was able to make it great. The fans were always looking forward to seeing him take the list out and put somebody’s name on it because they haven’t been good to him.
That is just a part of his legacy. Back when he was in his prime, he used to win belts and did it in a heelish fashion. After all, he is the first Undisputed WWE Champion, and that is something that nobody is going to be able to take away from him. Later, his run with the Big Show as a dominant tag team was also one of the best runs that he had. What we are trying to say here is that he is going to enter the Hall of Fame one day. But, will he show up to his induction?
“I don’t think about stuff like that like I said. If it happens, I probably wouldn’t show up. I don’t like these big pomp and circumstance things like retirement matches, and everybody kissing your a*s telling you how great you are because I know how great I am, so I don’t need people telling me that. So, depending on what mood I’m in, I’ve always been the anti-star for that kind of thing anyways.”
