The storyline between Ambrose and Rollins has been the best one outside of that main event storyline on Monday Night Raw. They have finally united on this week’s edition of Raw as they helped each other against Cesaro and Sheamus. After that happened, general manager of the red brand Kurt Angle has said that the champions will be challenged by the two-thirds of the Shield for their Raw tag titles.
Even though this story with Ambrose and Rollins as a tag team is pretty good, we don’t think that is going to last long. They might even have a run with the tag titles, but that is going to be just something for them to do until they split up eventually. It is going to happen, and it is going to make a great television show if the writers do their job right.
Sheamus and Cesaro have been good as a team since they united and they deserved to become the champions. Now, they will be facing their toughest test yet in Ambrose and Rollins as they are two big profile superstars that crowd is always going to get behind.
The writers have done a great job teasing Rollins and Ambrose getting back together, and they made the fans want that even more. Now, the fans want to see them win the titles for that feel good moment, which makes us think that the producers will pull off the same thing again and make the fans wait, make them crave this title run for the two-thirds of the former Shield. That is why we think that heels are going to pull off something shady and win the match against Rollins and Ambrose. Our pick: Sheamus and Cesaro.
