After being the face of the company for 15 years now, John Cena could easily say that he is one of the greatest superstars of all time. There is no doubt that this wrestler is still a big draw even after all these years and all these feuds and matches that he already had. When you take a look back, it is amazing to see for how long he has been able to remain at the top of the food chain in WWE.
Now, he is trying to make it in the mainstream as he is doing shows, making movies and whatnot, but this man hasn’t forgotten where he came from. In fact, he is still passionate about the wrestling business as he ever was, it is just that he doesn’t have that much time to do it nowadays. Other opportunities are so good that everybody who passed on them would be a fool.
John Cena for sure has all the charisma and the personality to succeed in his future endeavors. He is always asked when he is going to call it quits when it comes to wrestling as he is earning enough money outside the WWE and he would probably make even more if he committed full-time to it. Here is the answer that he gave to the person that asked him that.
“They would have to tell me that they don’t need me anymore. And trust me, after 15 years of service, if they tell me that, I walk away with a stern handshake, a genuine smile, and a heartfelt ‘thank you’ because I’ve overstayed my welcome in some aspects. This is a dream ride for me, but it’s not like I’m getting into the other gig to leave the other one behind. WWE is legit my home. I consider them my family. I have such a close connection with all the people that are responsible for the brand, but until they say that, I’d like to think that I can contribute in some capacity.”
