Now that Falcons are actually the team with a better record, this game now means much more than most people thought it would. Atlanta has won two consecutive matches while the Panthers are underperforming right now. Who will finish as the winner of this duel?
Atlanta’s offense is looking great. Coleman and Freeman have been an amazing running back combo for this Falcons’ team. Freeman was the one who ran the ball all night long in New Orleans while Coleman was the one who was finding the end zone. Ryan is looking good; he has all the weapons and tools to make this team successful.
Panthers haven’t been as impressive as they were last season. They already lost more games than they did during last year’s regular season. Newton and his offense had a long day on Sunday against the Vikings. When you are sacked eight times during one game, it speaks volumes about his and performance of his O-line.
Carolina was heavy favored to win this division, but now things got interesting. Falcons are 2-1 and have the chance to go up two games on Panthers. They are playing at home; they have the home field advantage that could propel them to victory.
But we guess they just won’t be able to do it. Panthers defense will just be too much for Atlanta to overcome, while their D isn’t going to stop Cam Newton. He will be playing with a chip on his shoulder and lead his team to victory. We expect for Panthers to win this game and that the result will be 30:20.
