Even though media is talking about the Dallas Cowboys all the time, we can’t forget about the Giants. They are the winners of four straight games and well on their way to the postseason. They are sitting in the driver’s seat for that Wild Card spot, but we are sure that they have bigger goals in mind. Can they actually catch the Dallas Cowboys and win the division.
Giants are just two games behind Cowboys. That’s not a lot considering the fact that Dallas and New York will meet again this season and it’s going to be a duel at MetLife Stadium. Giants will be playing on their home turf in a match of the season. They are the ones that defeated Dallas in the season opener. As it turned out, that is Dallas’ only loss; ‘Boys will want to revenge that while their opponents will try to beat them again and maybe jump them in a divisional battle.
New York has one over the Cowboys, and if they beat them again, they will have the tiebreaker on their side. Two games is not a big advantage, but a nice one to have. Dallas is playing well, but Dak Prescott and company need to keep winning matches in order to fight of this Giants’ surge.
If we had to make a prediction, we would say that the Dallas Cowboys won’t lose this division in final six games. Giants could beat them, but even if they do, we don’t believe that New York can keep winning and perform on at the high level of the Cowboys and actually catch them up.
