The opinions on Prescott are divided, and Rick Gosselin, a special contributor to SportsDay says: “They’ve got to strike a balance. Last year, he was a member of the supporting cast. It was the Ezekiel Elliott show, and I’ve told you guys before I voted Elliott for MVP and rookie of the year for that reason. I thought he was the reason they were 13-3. He was the reason they were able to play a fourth-round rookie quarterback. This year, without Elliott and with more of a defensive focus on Elliott when he was on the field, they asked Prescott to do more, and he wasn’t always capable of delivering it.”
