9Eric Wood

In 2009 Philadelphia Eagles defender dove to tackle the Buffalo Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and the rookie Wood trailed on the play and ended up with his leg stuck in a heap of players from both sides. He broke his leg, finished a season from there, but luckily returned with a position change to Center and ended up a Pro Bowler with the Bills.

Leonard Weaver

This guy, a Pro Bowl fullback, had a pretty good career by the age of 27 with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009. In the 2010 season, things changed for the worse when Weaver got tackled by the Green Bay Packers defender and ended with his leg being bent sideways. This was a career ender for him because, after a few rounds of rehab on his shredded ACL, he never bounced back and was forced to call it quits.
