BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) announced today that it will be rolling out BlackBerry OS 10.3.2 and BlackBerry Blend 1.2 in the coming weeks. The update will be available to all BlackBerry 10 devices.
BlackBerry Blend 1.2 Update
The new design update for BlackBerry Blend 1.2 makes both the interaction with messages as well as content easier and faster. BlackBerry said that the experience is further enhanced with the added new spell check and the ability to be able to reply directly from within Blend notification pop-ups in addition to the enhanced file transfer visual.
Anti-theft protection
Anti-theft protect ion in BlackBerry protect gives the user the ability to disable their BlackBerry device in the situation of it getting lost or stolen. The user can be sure that no one will be able to erase and recreate the device for themselves.
Camera
The BlackBerry OS 10.3.2 brings enhancements to the Camera. As per BlackBerry, low light performance in auto-mode, improved face-detection, and reduced blur caused by motion.
BlackBerry Calendar
The Meeting Mode feature in BlackBerry Calendar, when enabled, the BlackBerry phone will automatically set itself to quite during the meeting. BlackBerry OS 10.3.2 now enables you to customize this feature to work according to your needs. users can specify which events are controlled by the Meeting Mode.
BlackBerry Calendar month view will now show reduced or expanded date numbers based on how busy your schedule is for that day.
BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) also said that for the existing BlackBerry 10 friends in the U.S. not using BlackBerry Passport or Classic, the new 10.3.2 update offers new look which includes updated icons and improved action bar. users in the U.S. will be introduced to BlackBerry Assistant and BlackBerry Blend and more.
Availability
BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) will start worldwide roll-out of its 10.3.2 update in the coming few weeks for all BlackBerry 10 devices. Users will receive a notification in BlackBerry Hub that the 10.3.2 update is ready for download.
