BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s BBM is the gold winner in the category of Enterprise Service of the Year in Best in Biz Awards 2015 International. The Best in Biz Awards are the sole independent worldwide business awards program judged by industry analysts along with people from the press.
The international version of the program is in its third year now. Over 250 companies from over 30 nations took part this year.
Incidentally, this is BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY)’s third Best in Biz award. It earlier bagged the gold title for Enterprise Service of the Year for BES10 Hosted in 2014’s North America contest. The BlackBerry Z30 captured gold for Consumer Product of the Year in Best in Biz Awards 2014 International.
To achieve the top position for Enterprise Service of the Year BBM meetings were evaluated by a panel of journalists, writers as well as contributors to technology, trade, financial, consumer and enterprise publications along with analyst firms and broadcast outlets.
The award submission emphasized the several advantages of BBM Meetings such as inherent flexibility, support for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s Mac, Windows PC, iPad, BlackBerry 10, iPhone, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG)’s Android along with being cost effective.
A new bunch of images showcasing BlackBerry’s first ever Android smartphone has emerged online confirming that the gadget will debut with a cool sliding QWERTY keyboard. Canadian handset maker Blackberry has been speculated to be building its first device that will have Google’s Android mobile operating system. It is known as the BlackBerry Venice.
As per sources, a sliding feature in the smartphone will let users begin utilizing the QWERTY keyboard just by dragging it downwards. The handset’s display will have a decent resolution of 1440X2560 pixels. The smartphone will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor, having a hexa-core CPU with a speed of 1.8 GHz, along with 3GB of RAM.
The BlackBerry Venice is expected to become available on all major American carriers as of November this year.
