BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) has consolidated its apps, services and software into one place known as the Enterprise Marketplace. The new change is part of the company’s effort to add value to its Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) platform.

Blackberry claims that the new changes will allow users to gain comprehensive information about the company with more ease. Additionally, bringing the features together makes the system more convenient. The company’s goal is to help users find the right partner to come up with the enterprise solutions that users require to tap fully into the firm’s EMM deployment.

Among the partners available are; Off-the-shelf enterprise software solutions, development partner to develop a custom software solution and authorized reseller that can provide BlackBerry software and services. There is also a hosting partner to lend their infrastructure, network, and expertise. The system is designed to meet the client’s needs by offering solutions from a consolidated point.

The system also seeks to eliminate the struggle of having to employ a regular internet search that can be a lot of work and frustrating most of the time. It also makes the search more responsive since it is optimized for that very task. The searches on the marketplace can be filtered depending on numerous variables. Some of the variables include regional support, language support and support for different industries. With this kind of a marketplace, the customer can find solutions all in one place.

Blackberry revamp of its enterprise marketplace is part of the firm’s renewed focus on its software offerings. As for its mobile phone business, the firm has been contemplating between its proprietary BB10 operating system and making Android-powered smartphones. However, there is a lot of speculation that the company will switch over to the Android operating system especially for its upcoming smartphone, the Venice.

The company is excited about the device especially because it will host the famous Blackberry keyboard. Additionally, it will be the company’s top premium device.
