Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) has slashed the prices of selected BB10 phones for almost a month. The deals will be available on BlackBerry Q5, Q10, Z10 and Z30.
Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) has discounted Q10 heavily lowering its price from $399 to $199 on the ShopBlackBerry Canada store. The price of Q5 has been lowered to $159 from the actual price of $349. BlackBerry Z30 is now priced at $299 from $499.
BlackBerry offering unlocked versions
Already, both pink and black colors of BlackBerry Q10 were out of stock whereas white Z10 is also not available. According to Mobile Syrup, following devices are available at the store are:
BlackBerry Q10 – White ($199 down from $399)
BlackBerry Q5 – Black ($159 down from $349)
BlackBerry Q5 – Red ($159 down from $349)
BlackBerry Q5 – White ($159 down from $349)
BlackBerry Z30 – Black ($299 down from $499)
BlackBerry Z30 – White ($299 down from $49
All these handsets will be available unlocked, which means a user can avail his or her preferred carrier.

These phones can be upgraded with the new operating system 10.3.1. The upcoming update that will be packed with 18 new features, such as built-in access to the Amazon App store and a huge range of Android apps. BlackBerry Passport already comes with version 10.3.

Additionally, organizations have the choice to order these phones in bulk. Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) has stated that these phone deals will run till December 1st. The Canadian smartphone maker has mentioned that the phones would be available at the discounted price only for the customers accepting the device in the United States, Canada and the U.K. There can be minor differences in the exact pricing and discount of the phones depending on the country along with the models and colors. Only limited quantity of the discounted phones are available, and price can change anytime.
“These discounts are NOT valid on previous ShopBlackBerry purchases. Quantities are limited and the offer can change at any time,” says a blog.
Separately, Strategy Analytics claimed in its recent report that Android capture 83.6% of the market whereas BlackBerry market share dropped. For the third-quarter, Blackberry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) (TSE:BB) claimed just 0.7% market share compared to 1% last year.
