The biggest Monday Night Raw of the year is the one that comes right after Wrestlemania. It’s the biggest Raw of the season and, usually, surprises and big moments are bound to happen. The crowd is hot after WWE’s biggest show of the year, and they are ready to see some good action.
Last year, we had a chance to welcome Big Cass and Enzo Amore to the main roster right after Wrestlemania 33. Also, AJ Styles was named the number one contender for the WWE Championship and it was a big moment for the Phenomenal One.
This year, it seems that WWE already wants to book that show after WM 33. It appears that the plans are to call up Shinsuke Nakamura to the main roster. He is in NXT right now, but everybody knows that he is ready for Raw or Smackdown. Right now, it seems that he will be a member of the red brand.
Also, reports are saying that Goldberg will make an appearance at that Monday Night Raw during which he will cement a longer run with the company. If that is true, it seems that we will be seeing much more Goldberg than we initially thought.
While both of the above rumors could happen, Dave Meltzer took to Twitter to dispel the stories and speculations. When he was asked if WWE had anything ready and already planned, Meltzer stated that they don’t even have an episode of Monday Night Raw written until days before the show. He also noted that rewrites leading up to the show are a normal thing.
