Monday Night Raw is still the flagship of the company as it remains their most popular show, but they haven’t been as good as Smackdown content-wise. This will be a go-home show for the Fastlane PPV, and those kinds of episodes need to hook you to watch the pay per view on Sunday. This red-branded PPV is the last on the road to the Wrestlemania 33 which makes this event all that more important.
It seems that Chris Jericho will make an appearance on this edition of Raw after missing last week’s show when Owens previously attacked him and ended their friendship. It is expected that Chris will be a face in this feud and it’s going to be interesting to see the crowd reaction that he will get.
Brock Lesnar will also appear for the second time in a row, and it should be in order to entice his feud with Bill Goldberg. They are bound to meet at the grandest stage of them all. If Goldberg wins the title at Fastlane, which is likely, these two monsters will fight for the belt in Orlando.
After being attacked by Samoa Joe just a couple of weeks ago, Seth Rollins will make his return in an interview segment and will probably address both Samoa Joe and Triple H. This all means that he will be ready for Wrestlemania and that the feud with The Game is still very much on the table.
This can be one of the best Raw episodes in recent memory. Still, the show has been subpar for quite some time, so what does that actually mean? We will have to be patient and see.
