We now know that Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar are going to be the ones we will see for the main event of the first-ever Great Balls of Fire pay per view. Joe won the number one contender’s fatal five-way battle at Extreme Rules, earning him a title shot against the Beast Incarnate. The feud started off great with Joe attacking Heyman this past Monday Night Raw and delivering a strong promo before and after the assault.
But, we still don’t know how the rest of the card is going to shape up. The last edition of Raw was just fallout from the Extreme Rules, while the next episode should give us an insight into how the Great Balls of Fire pay per view is going to look. Besides the tag team titles rematch that we are likely going to watch at July’s PPV event, there is one big feud that WWE is going to go with.
That is going to be Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins. Monday Night Raw is top-heavy as they do have a lot of guys in the main event scene. Two of those now are Rollins and Wyatt, two guys that never went head to head in a feud since they came to the main roster from the NXT. Raw is trying to use all of their big stars and keep them relevant. This is something refreshing, and hopefully, they will be able to give us something good both on the mic and in the ring.
What does this mean for Finn Balor who was rumored to be the next opponent for the Eater of Worlds? We’ll have to wait for the future episodes to find out.
