To those of you who didn’t find this out sooner, everybody’s favorite singer (in a very creative manner if I may add) informed the world that she is pregnant, and to make things even more interesting, Beyonce is carrying twins! The 35-year-old singer posted a pic of her in a bra and underwear with a clearly visible baby tummy on her Instagram account on Wednesday. The pic had a caption – “We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters.”
On the picture, you can see her wearing a veil on over her face while surrounded by flowers. But there is something “strange” in this photo, and that is the choice of colors for the bra and panties Beyonce is wearing. Since she is wearing blue panties and pink bra, fans all over are speculating that she is trying to hint that the babies are most likely a boy and a girl. But since she did not reveal anything regarding that it is only speculations until we receive some official info. Since this is a very happy news, first celebrities that congratulated expecting parents were Rihanna, Rita Ora and Brie Larson and they did that over the social media, of course.
Now, if you recall this isn’t Beyonce and Jay-Z‘s first child, they are parents to a five-year-old daughter named Blue Ivy. But you probably didn’t know that prior to Blue Ivy’s arrival In 2013, Beyonce revealed she had suffered a miscarriage. We even found a statement she gave at the time saying “About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time. And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life. I picked out names. I envisioned what my child would look like. I was feeling very maternal. I flew back to New York to get my check up – and no heartbeat. Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat. I went into the studio and wrote the saddest song I’ve ever written in my life. And it was actually the first song I wrote for my album. And it was the best form of therapy for me, because it was the saddest thing I’ve ever been through.” But after the bad news, some time later Beyonce found out she’d been blessed again, and it was with Blue Ivy. The next big task that she found out to be extremely difficult is to keep the news to herself, to begin with.
When she spoke on her TV show Life Is But a Dream, Beyonce stated “Being pregnant was very much like falling in love. You are so open. You are so overjoyed. There’s no words that can express having a baby growing inside of you, so of course you want to scream it out and tell everyone.” She also gave a statement for Vogue, shortly after having Blue Ivy, where she said “When I was younger, there were moments where I said, “I’m not going to have children”, and then there were moments when I wanted four. And now I definitely want another, but I don’t know when,” She described being a mother as “Beautifull” and added “When I wake up in the morning, the best thing in the world is seeing her face. It’s just such a beautiful time in my life to have a child and every day see something new and see her learn something new.”
Beyonce and Jay-Z, for those who do not know, met in the late 1990’s and got married in 2008, and sometime in April last year Beyonce nearly crashed the internet with the release of her hour-long visual album Lemonade, where she pretty much hinted that Jay-Z is having an affair. On the track “Sorry” she said – “Looking at my watch he should have been home/ I regret the day I put that ring on/ He always got them f***ing excuses/ He only want me when I’m not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair.” But that wasn’t enough to split them up. By the end of the album, they managed to patch things up and give it another go, putting those affair allegations that were circling for years into a deep grave. What is interesting is that Jay-Z received some scorns from both his and hers fans about his behavior, while others saw that just as a publicity stunt that was supposed to attract cash. God only knows what exactly happened there, since the couple made no official comment on the affair rumors.
