Ooh, the childhood memories. This 1990 comedy is perfect if you want to have a trip down the memory lane. Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister who is an 8-year-old accidentally left home by his parents and siblings while they go on their Christmas holiday. However, Kevin is happy that he finally has the whole house to himself and that he can do whatever he likes. But, two burglars come up with the idea to rob Kevin’s house, and he is left with no choice but to hold the fort.
Following its release, Home Alone became the highest-grossing live action comedy film of all times in the US. It also held the record internationally until The Hangover Part II arrived in 2011.
