Rams’ rookie quarterback Jared Goff had a tough time in New England. Belichick was rushing him all game long, and Jeff Fisher just couldn’t find a way to protect his signal caller. Their offensive line has been bad this season while being one of the biggest reason for their offensive problems and the struggles in their running game.
Atlanta made a huge mistake on that last play against the Chiefs. They went for two, but Ryan’s pass ended up being taken the other way for two points. Now, instead of being 8-4, they are 7-5 and have the lead in their division just because they hold a tiebreaker over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Goff has shown the ability to move the chains against some bad defenses. Atlanta qualifies in that bunch. New Orleans had a tough time stopping him in the first half and Falcons will likely have a lot of trouble with him as well. If his receivers show up, Rams could win this game.
But, if they are going to do it, they will have to stop this Atlanta’s offense. Matt Ryan and his weapons are on the same page this year, and this is NFL 3rd best offense. They were even ranked as the best offense going into Week 14. LA had a tough time stopping Brady and the Patriots past Sunday. Now, when they don’t have Gronk, it seems that Atlanta has even better offense than the one in New England.
We are going to pick Matt Ryan and his Atlanta Falcons to outscore Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams. Both squads will put up a good amount of points in this high-scoring contest. Defenses won’t do much in this match, but Atlanta’s will do just enough so they can escape from LA with a 28:23 win over their hosts, the Los Angeles Rams.
