Arizona Cardinals have had a disappointing season and are one of the biggest surprises of this NFL season. Surprising yes, but not in a good way. After a year in which they had won 14 games and went to the AFC championship duel, this year by Week 3, they lost as many matches as they did during the whole 2015 campaign.
Los Angeles Rams season was miserable. They have finally let go of Jeff Fisher a couple of weeks ago. He just couldn’t get this team to play well, and a lot of people were critical of him in the past couple of years. Many people are saying that the bad performances of the Rams were not a result of the lack of talent, but a lack of quality coaching.
Now, they are ready to begin the life after Fisher. Jared Goff stepped in for Keenum late in the season, so any big expectations that some might had for him were not justified. We should judge him by how he plays next year as they give him the keys to the offense and let him know that the team is his.
Arizona’s defense was pretty bad in the past couple of rounds, most notably against the Saints, in a contest in which Zona gave up 49 points to Drew Brees and his wideouts.
Rams offense is not nearly as good, but we think Goff will have a good game and LA will be competitive. In the end, it won’t be enough as we see the Cardinals closing their miserable 2016 campaign with a 33:24 win over the Los Angeles Rams.
