According to some rumors and reports, American Tech giant, Apple is planning to release a new generation of their Watch before the end of 2017.
Industry news site Digitiems delivered a report which claims that the company is currently in talks with suppliers to release the next generation Apple Watch before the end of the year. There we saw many details of the product and how it will be produced by ODM (Taiwan). Unfortunately, we found nothing specs-wise.
We would like to point out that some of the previous Digitimes reports weren’t 100% accurate and some were not true, so we strongly advise you to take this information with a grain of salt. Now that that’s out of the way we had a platter of Apple Watch 3 speculations so far, and the rumor that new gadget is set to be released in 2017 isn’t unfamiliar.
In January we had a report that the Apple Watch 3 is to be released in third quarter of 2017 according to Economic Daily News (China). One of the things that they have mentioned then was the fact that Cupertino-based giant planned to enlarge battery prolonging the devices autonomy since it was the biggest problem of Apple Watch dating back to its release in 2015.
Later, in February, Digitimes claimed that Apple had intentions of changing supplier of touch panels for their new gadget. Allegedly, California tech giant wanted to implement a new ‘glass-film touch solution.’ Companies that were meant to be contracted for the job were Hong Kong’s Biel Crystal Manufactory and General Interface Solution from Taiwan.
In March an analyst, Christopher Roland said that Apple had intentions of featuring a standalone mobile connectivity and a better processor. His claims were based on discussions led with suppliers in Asia.
Apple shared no info on the matter, but these reports and rumors seem realistic but again, we exclaim, take all of this with a pinch of salt.
