The Rampage movie premier is nearing, and we can all tell that by the amount of news, posters, and trailers we have seen lately. The promotion campaign is huge, and the biggest contributor is its lead actor – Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Just a couple of days ago he went to social media and released this international trailer for the movie along with the China release date.
If you have been living under the rock past months, then you probably do not know that Rampage is centered around primatologist Davis Okoye (played by Johnson) who is trying to find some sort of cure, or antidote for the genetic mutation responsible for a monster Gorilla, Crocodile and a Wolf running around city of Chicago reaping havoc all around. Do not think that this is some low budget arcade game-made-into-movie, no! This project includes some big cast names such as Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Malin Akerman, Joe Manganiello, Naomie Harris, Jake Lacy, P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid and Matt Gerald.
If you were too lazy to check out IMDb and find more about this movie, we bring you the official synopsis which reads: “Primatologist Davis Okoye shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry transforms this gentle ape into a raging monster. As these newly created monsters tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.”
