It’s a big shame that Indianapolis Colts just can’t put good enough team around Andrew Luck in order to help him win games. His signing is not helping them, as they failed to bring in some help on the defensive side of the ball even when he was on a rookie deal. Today against the Titans he proved why he was given that huge contract.
Luck was sensational throughout the game as he went 27/39 for huge 353 yards and three touchdowns with no picks. He was finding the receivers all over the place and did it with ease like his balls had eyes and tracking devices. Colts’ have failed to protect him ever since he came into the league but Andrew is still able to put great numbers and lead his team to victories even without a proper offensive line. Or any kind of relevant running game.
Mariota was also good as he continued his string of good performances, but there was no stopping for Andrew Luck in Tennessee. DeMarco Murray gave them a nice boost but more was probably expected from him against this bad Indy team.
In the end, it’s the Colts that ended up victorious. This is an important win for this team after that heart-breaking loss in Houston on Sunday Night Football. They are sitting at 3-4 and waiting to see what will Texans do against Denver on Monday. They are still in the play for the division title. That’s what is important for Luck and his squad.
