Smackdown Live just got us another solid episode that built up the excitement towards the Wrestlemania, and it was much better than Monday Night Raw. They are doing things that make sense, everything that happened on the show somehow has some ties with the event that is going to take place in Orlando. While Raw is failing to do that, Smackdown Live is thriving each and every week.
AJ Styles is one of the faces of this blue brand. It’s very important for him to be in a big match at the grandest stage of them all as he has been one of the best performers over the past year. He won his match against Luke Harper, and he should be in the main event of the Wrestlemania.
But, Randy Orton also left the Wyatt family in a big fashion, so this probably means that he will challenge Wyatt in the main event. He is the winner of the Royal Rumble, and that match between Harper and AJ happened because Orton didn’t want to fight Wyatt at first. Now that he wants to, AJ Styles will be scammed.
This was planned so AJ Styles can start his feud with the Smackdown Live commissioner Shane McMahon. The idea was for them to face off at the grandest stage of them all and the wheels are now in motion. AJ Styles now probably won’t challenge Wyatt, and that will be the focal point of his feud with McMahon.
Even though AJ could be in a better match than this, being in a duel with McMahon on the biggest show of the year is a pretty big spot to be in.
