3#3 Taco Charlton, DE
We wrote about defensive end Taco Charlton before, and you all know that he hasn’t been that productive player as some thought he would be, but hey Cowboys knew he was raw and they still opted for him. Before Week 9 Charlton had four tackles in the season and recorded no sacks which is not that great, but some reports came and they stated that he is actually improving in practice and has been “close.” The Chiefs game finally brought him from close to there, and in this match, rookie managed to get his first sack late in the game.
One more thing goes to Charlton’s advantage, and it is the fact that defensive end Demarcus Lawrence and defensive tackle David Irving finally emerged this season. It also gives Dallas some breathing space and allows them to take their sweet time with Charlton.
